Lazy Sunday

Hey Peeps! How’s everyone doing?

I’ve looked through a series and not to mentioned dozens of folders in my pc. I was for a moment clueless on the things that I can explained or blog about as each photo has a diverse story behind it!

Guess I shall just select and choose the most recent things that I’ve been doing for the past two weeks..

Before I move into that, for those of you who are using livejournal, do you facve the same problem as me? Its super redundant now a days where you have to wait for minutes before you are able to see the entry page! This is ridiculous. Did I mentioned as well that the uploading of photos is super retarded    laggy as well?

Ok before I even thought of hitting the 'delete blog' button for livejournal and transfer to blogspot.com, lets carry on with the intitial entry (what I;ve been doing for the past few weeks):

WEEK 1:
- Thinking of which Burberry shall I get. I came across this
burberry blue label website, referred by my colleague when I casually asked her whether does she know anything about Burberry Blue Label (BBL). And ya.. needless to say, i was there in my cubicle pretending to work multitasking in between browsers to look for a sling bag that i would really love to have. After browsing for few minutes, I finally found what I wanted all along!

NYLON 2 WAY SLING BAG - BURBERRY BLUE LABEL

THE DRYDEN BAG - BURBERRY LONDON

This is a cheaper and less prestige version of Burberry London. Needless to say, Burberry London will burn extra $300+ deep into my pocket as compared to the BBL.

WEEK 2:
My boss was telling me that her hubby who is currently with a French MNC will be going over to Paris for some training sometime next week! I was so happy as I have ordered  asked him to get the Neverfull MM for me! If its possible, I am going to save extra $400! That's a lot of money... I can use it to top up on my Burberry purchase *_^. In case you didnt know,
Neverfull MM is damn Chio K! It's practical at the same time where one can use it to work without being labeled as sloppy (well some bags are just meant to be used during the weekends when you are in your cotton on shorts) and it turns out super handy during the weekend where you can just throw in all your purchases!

TODAY:
Wasnt exactly sure if I get the whole week one and two thingie correctly in the first place. haha.. Well, as far as I am concern, both myself and bb had a great lazy Sunday today. We went shopping at Atria and had our dinner there before we head home. Noticed the pink paper bag from Cotton on? Baby purchased it for me by surprise and he was holding it when I was browsing some undergarments at Cotton On body which was at another section. He came by to look for me with the pink bag and I asked him:

Me: Baby, why did you get this bag instead of the usual paper bag? you paid $1 for this?
(You have to pay extra $1 to get the bag which is supposed to help save the environment and all the proceeds will go to the charity)

Baby: Yeah.. I got it specially for you.. Anyway nevermind lah.. only $1. I realised that you have alot of carrier but not in pink! how can you not have a pink carrier!

Me: For a moment, I realised that he's so sweet & observant. haha. Oh ya, I often use these non woven bags to carry my lappy, which fits nicely into the bag, rather than the super bulky laptop bag which leaves red lines on my shoulder after a long period.

Oh ya.. I've also bought one casual shoe from Pedro for baby's coming birthday  = ).
Pedro has a wide collection of working as well as casual shoes which are trendy and affordable, i would say.

Shit. Its coming to 11 now and I realised that I've got to work tomorrow. Dont you just hate Monday?

Till then!

Short weekend updates

I am too lazy to elaborate much.

Shall just skip to a short and sweet entry this time = )

Went down town to source for a new basketball shoe for baby, since he's very into the game at the current moment.

We decided to check out Adidas first, since they are having the exchange promotion where you can trash your old pair of shoes and receive a $50 off your new pair of Adidas. Sounds kinda good deal huh?

We went to various outlets as many didn't carry my baby's giant shoe size; 11.
* images below were taken using my handphone as I left my camera in the car! talked about early alzheimer.

Trying on the black one...

Hmmm not really satisfied.. he walked around the store to check out 'other' pairs...

Compairing again... whether to get the white one or the black ones..

While he was still searching high and low for his pair of crusher, I managed to snap some photos of the old shoes that people threw in, for an exchange to a new pair. Hmm well.. if you ask me.. its doesnt smell la.

As you may have noticed, many of these shoes are still in good condition. Guess many of us just wanted a brand new pair.

Being a lady, of course i didn't go back home empty handed. Bought this very comfortable ballerina flat at less than $80 =)

He's still thinking.....

In the end, he ordered for another pair as he find that the black ones are too conventionally boring = }

Today, I happened to glanced upon a doll at Mini Toons. For a second I thought it might be a good idea for me to placed it at my office chair to serve as a back support. its so comfy = }

Introducing to you, little dong dong, or whoever its name was. I seriously cant remember.
He's supposed to be squashed in btw my back and the chair. hehe

Its supposed to be in dark pink. this was taken by my HP camera thus it appears to be light pink from a certain angle.

till then!

Cheers~

St Ives Swiss Formula = )

I'm super addicted to St Ives lately.
Nothing can come close to it when it comes to pampering and moisturizing your skin giving it a healthy, soft and smooth touch.

I would strongly recommend St Ives to those who have dry skin, where your skin does get irritated during hot and humid days.

Just came back from Mustaffa. Look at what we bought!!!

Full collection of the St Ives products!!
Love the smell of their shampoo too... there's a few variety to choose fron, depending on your skin/hair conditions. I am a sucker for anything that's pink. Yes. Pink
As you can see the pink shampoo is applicable for those who have normal hair.. and I know.. my hair is not normal.. its rather far away more damaging than normal hair.. hehe

I have a very dry skin, and it does get rather sweaty during hot days.. I love the way the Vitamin E advanced body moisturiser just soak into your skin minutes after application and it does not feels oily at all.

Try it for yourself & see if it you like it..
For bulk purchases, you can consider getting it from Mustaffa Centre.

Cheers everyone!

Long ranting

 crying-2.jpg picture by butterflocks

Its kinda hard to explain how I feel at the moment. Its a mixture of happiness and sadness, to the point where its rather unexplainable. Happy as I've finally found a new job, a new company which allows me to progress to another level and nearer to my career goals. On the other hand, I cant help feeling sad and depressed as I miss my colleagues, friends and wonderful strangers which I have not met if I have not been in this position, in this current company.

This Friday would mark my last day at my current company. I used to find it silly for those who resigned to cry on their last day.. and I've never seen  myself in that stage, ever! But then, when it comes to me, I doubt I can hold my tears this Friday when all of them start to hug and blow you away with their well wishes..

I've met great friends, established great bonds for being in the organisation for the past 2 years and 10 months. Being in this organisation allows me to have more autonomy, more patience as people here tend to take a very long time to revert back, more decisive, advanced my multi tasking skills, leadership skills, and many many more which I cant think of at this very moment! I'm not prepared for this entry.. godammit!

I've did things which I never imagined myself doing, building up my confidence level to the maximum when I have to speak to hundreds of people in blue uniform. I remembered how I used to fluttered and mumbles softly when I forgot all of the VIP's name and title! Many experiences that I might share, but the most significant ones would be when one of my staff threaten to see me downstairs after work as he was furious and have the wrong perception that the organisation are cheating and shortpay him. He was also shouting on top of his lungs most of the time. Doing what I like to do best, I;ve learnt how to listen and to act as if I care and look concerned, although I have no idea and clueless at whta they are trying to say.. Well what I've gathered is to check on the person's character and to deal with them slowly. Never shout back to those who shouted at you - Rule of the thumb.

I've never imagined myself being surrounded not only by the men in blue, but also men in white. I sincerely appreciate the attention given to me for every speech and talk or visits that I have done and for the men to pay attention to every word that I said, believing and trusting me that I am able to help them and making their workplace a more condusive ones. Its great to see that for the past two years, I have never receive any complaints be it from external vendors or internal customers but only compliments. Guess this gave me the assurance that I am doing the right thing.. Or it could be that people are not bothered about me! haha..

Its great to receive big and massive hampers for every festive season, and to know that corporate vendors takes care of you by showering you with lots and lots of loots and free gifts. In case you dont know by now, I am the person in charge of corporate discounts etc.. so I do get to enjoy certain perks and benefits before anyone in my organisation does.

What I love most about my job is to be able to go into places which are not accessible by public or even the very top management staff. I have to conduct site visits to restricted places to check on on my men's welfare and work conditions 80% of my time and thus enjoyed doing so. Its really interesting to venture into government restricted buildings where public can only view the exterior from outside.

I guess I shall just move on from here. I will definitely miss you
Certis.
